1 Always include one or more photos, you can upload up to 5 colour photos. The best image size is 640 x 480 pixels. When you upload images they will be formatted to fit. Give your photo a descriptive file name, for example westie_puppy.jpg is more descriptive that image1342.jpg. Having a descriptive file name makes it easier for search engines like Google to find your advert when people are searching for the item you are selling.
2 The TITLE of your advert is vital. Ensure your advert title has all your keywords, with the most important keywords at the front. This too makes it easier for search engines to find your advertisement and increase your chances of finding a buyer.
3 Descriptive Copy. Ensure your advert accurately describes the item you are selling.

Do not include your address in any classified ad. Make contact with the buyer / seller initially through email or phone. Exercise caution when meeting a stranger for the first time and take precautions to protect you and your property. It's hard to accept, but there are thousands of scammers waiting to take your money. IDEALLY, DEAL LOCAL AND FACE TO FACE! Most (but not all) scammers don't want to meet you in person. In fact, most scammers are thousands of miles away in another country. If the buyer can't meet you in person then be very cautious. Even when the buyer meets you in person it is important to follow these rules. ACCEPT CASH ONLY! If the amount is large, offer to go to the bank with the buyer. DO NOT ACCEPT BANK CHEQUES! Especially beware if it is for more than the purchase price! DO NOT ACCEPT MONEY ORDERS! Especially beware if it is for more than the purchase price. DO NOT ACCEPT TRAVELLERS CHEQUES! Especially beware if it is for more than the purchase price. If you receive a cheque, bank cheque, money order or travellers cheque for more than the asking price, DO NOT RETURN "OVERAGES"! YOUR MONEY WILL BE GONE!
